A wonderful late Victorian dangle garnet necklace with a garnet cluster clasp in an open-back gold-filled or -plated setting. I counted at least a whopping 72 faceted garnets not including the smaller stones and the clasp. It is approximately 20” long and has had a safety clasp added at the back for extra security although the clasp is in good working order. It is in fabulous, sparkling condition.  (# 30687)
