Here is a hard-to-find early snood - likely homemade - for a French fashion doll. It has a ribbon that is tied into a bow at the top and twisted to form a circle. On that, there are 2 layers of netting and tulle. I have a 16" French fashion and it fits her very nicely (see last photo). This is not a reproduction. The edges of the tulle and netting are irregular with some stray threads. The ribbon circle is about 2.25" in diameter and the netting extends out a bit from there.
