This wonderful early 19th c (c 1820) miniature corset was likely made by a young girl to demonstrate her sewing skills. It is corded and entirely hand-stitched, including at the holes for the laces. It has a busk in place but I don't know what it is made of as it is sewn in.  It has spotting throughout. Laces and ribbons at the straps are modern replacements. It is 5.25" high at the front and the bust circumference is about 10.5". (# 202450)
