We have here a quintesstial c 1890 summer 3-piece dress for Miss Rowland. It is a 3-pc pink chambray outfit comprising a bonnet, capelet, and dress - all of which are trimmed in embroidered white cotton. The dress has an adorable yoke collar and is piped and cartridge pleated. It has wide gathered long sleeves terminating in self cuff and also edged in the white embroidered cotton frill. The bonnet has 2 rosettes at the top front, sizing ties at the inside back, and its original neck ties of the same pink chambray. The caplet too has its original ties. Inking at caplet inside back neck and dress back waist indicate that the last name of our young miss is Rowland. Length from front top button to botton of skirt is approximately 19". Waist is approximately 23.5". In good condition with some scattered stains (worst shown in one of the photos), minor fading (mostly around the collar), and a 1/4" tear at the rear/side. (# 202441)
