Offered here is a circa 1850 large American calico pocket backed in linen. The calico is a floral striped fabric in deep red, cream, tan and brown; the pocket opening is edged in another brown floral calico fabric. It is missing its ties. The linen backing has scattered stains and foxing. It is about 15” long from the bottom of the waistband. (# 202435)
