A rare and wonderful c 1785-90 pair of English shoes with low Italian heel in ice aqua and cream silk. The vamp terminate in a V-shape with a tie. Shoes in this style with this type of heel were in fashion for quite a short period of time and are therefore difficult to find. These shoes have been worn and show some stains and wear throughout -- most notably to heels, soles, the pointy tips as well as the back. (# 161894)
